Labour / Le Travail
Issue 91 (2023)

This special issue of Labour/Le Travail highlights new research on the question of deindustrialization in Canada. The issue covers important labour themes of strikes, economic change, and historical memory. Special guest editors Steven High and Lachlan MacKinnon were instrumental in bringing this issue to print, arranging for the submission of essays on these themes, and writing an introduction to contextualize the way the published essays contribute to this important field. As editors of the journal, it has been a pleasure to work with the guest editors and contributors in bringing this special issue to publication.

Ce numéro spécial de Labour/Le Travail met en lumière les nouvelles recherches sur la question de la déindustrialisation au Canada. Le numéro couvre d’importants thèmes du travail qui sont les grèves, les changements économiques et la mémoire historique. Les rédacteurs invités spéciaux, Steven High et Lachlan MacKinnon, ont contribué de façon remarquable à l’impression de ce numéro, à l’organisation de la soumission d’essais sur ces thèmes et ont rédigé une introduction pour contextualiser la manière dont les essais publiés contribuent à ce domaine important. En tant que rédacteurs en chef de la revue, ça a été un plaisir de travailler avec les rédacteurs et contributeurs invités à la publication de ce numéro spécial.
